TATRA museum Bitov
The exhibition features cars manufactured between 1924 and 1998, when the production of passenger cars of this brand was ended. Visit the exhibition of historic passenger vehicles, where one will find not only Tatra cars but also Škodas, Volkswagens and Citroens.
The museum is temporarily closed
The exhibition of the legendary historic Tatra cars also includes such unique items as the Tatra 87, which became known to the Czech public mainly thanks to the popular film Šakalí Léta (Jackal Years), or the T805 expedition car which was owned by the famous Czech traveller Jiří Hanzelka and which is the most unique piece of the exhibition.
The silver-blue T805 expedition car went on a journey leading across the Middle East, Asia, Indonesia, Japan and the Asian part of the former Soviet Union.
(It was the second expedition of the famous duo Hanzelka and Zikmund, which they went on between 1959 and 1964.)
