Museu de la Moto
The Museu de la Moto (Motorcycle Museum), as well known as M2R or Museum of the Two Wheels of Canillo, is now located at the entrance to the Canillo cable car building, has a permanent exhibition of more than a hundred motorcycles – 121 to be exact – ranging from the late nineteenth century to modern times.
This museum honors this fantastic vehicle, that with no doubt occupies an interesting place in the history. The museum houses unusual machines that date from the 20th century until now. Thanks to this museum, we can also know more about the history of the motorbike, from the creation of the first one in 1885, by Gottlieb Daimler, its evolution and technological advances, as well as the tendencies of the designs of each period.
Canillo is located roughly midway between Toulouse and Barcelona.
