This great enthusiast will then become a Benelli and Motobi dealer in the Narni area. For many years, many racing bikes were prepared in his workshop to compete in the Italian Speed Championship on the road circuits of Camerino, Senigallia, Terni. The attendance of champions of the caliber of Liberati, Masetti, Provini, Venturi and Mendogni, together with his great passion and specific competence, has allowed Filippetti to put together a beautiful collection in which the most significant examples are, relative to the period 1900-1920, Moto Revè, Moto Sacoche, Frera, BSA, Triumph, for the subsequent period from 1920 to 1930 Mas, Aja and Zundap, for the period from 1930 to 1945 Moto Sertum, Benelli, Guzzi, Nsu, Gilera, Bsa , Astra, Simplex and finally for the period from the post-war period up to the Sixties, Motobi, Demm, Laverda, Parilla. Altogether the motorcycles collected by Goliardo Filippetti are about sixty, to which must be added several mopeds from the seventies.
The museum was born from the passion of Goliardo Filippetti (the MAGO for friends) for motorcycles, which he developed since he was a boy, leading him to open his own workshop. Over time, the motorcycles he has restored have needed increasingly larger spaces. Today the exhibition is hosted at the Rocca Albornoz, which overlooks the city of Narni.
