Motormuseum Friesland

Several Harleys from the 1920s and some British classics. They are the gems in Motor Museum Friesland in Raerd, the pride of Gerrit Miedema. A well-kept secret among the Dutch Frisian meadows.

In the middle of the Frisian part of the Netherlands, between Raerd and Irnsum, there is a wooden sign along the side of the road. A privatly owned motorcycle museum in the middle of the countryside. You don't expect that. But it is not a joke. Behind a farm is a new barn containing about thirty historic motorcycles. This is Motor Museum Friesland with also some oldtimer automobiles.
